David Ghiyam: The Power of Prayer

[Music] hi everyone and welcome to episode 16 of the D GM podcast as always I appreciate your time I will keep this short and succinct and hopefully every line is impactful for you I also suggest that uh you hear it again because every time you hear this podcast a second time you will reveal more secrets you will learn more lessons and of course I am always so grateful that you are sharing this wisdom out with the world um the podcast is growing so quickly I think we already hit our first 200,000 views just within the first five six weeks and that's all because of you um obviously you know I don't monetize my podcasts I don't do brand deals I don't do advertisements I fund everything myself to remove the burden and off of you to remove the noise I don't think you need the noise of sponsorships I think we hear it all the time and so I want you just to be able to get the energy get the concepts improve your life and share it with others so that we can do the same for them the energy of this week I'm taking from different ancient texts different astrological themes and obviously from my own personal experience with the the work that I do in my own life and I promise you I'm not just teaching you and doing the opposite in my life everything I share with you is part of my daily practice practice and the other thing many of you may not know but and I shareed this here and there I have prior to uh well really really till today but I recently stopped for the last 20 years I've been privately coaching people from all around the world and I did all of that for charity it's probably close to 30,000 hours of personal one-on-one coaching and through that I have learned a tremendous amount tremendous amount I have learned through my coaching living vicariously through the lives of my students um my clients and I I glean from that I draw from that as well when I share with you what is the energy of this week what's available to us what can you connect to I started to talk about this last week and I wanted to kind of finish it there are three types of people who can create Miracles and the Zohar the ancient text of the Zohar that is meant for all of mankind shared this 2,000 years ago what are these three types of people well first it says that these three types of people engage in what are called three different types of prayer now what is prayer you've heard me talk about this prayer is a technology it is not a religion prayer is a technology by which I can draw the energy I need to transform my vessel so that my vessel can become a vessel of Miracles prayer is not me bribing God that he needs to change or me bribing the universe or me bribing my friend you know I'm going to pray that my friend does what I want I'm going to pray that this business deal goes through I'm going to pray that this person is healed which I'm not saying that's a bad thing to pray for someone's healing but there's a higher level of prayer which is not I pray to change everything around me but it's I pray to expand the vibration of my vessel to hold the light of Miracles that is already there to hold the light of prosperity that is already there to hold the light of my soulmate who is already revealed your soulmate is already created and revealed waiting like they're just sitting there waiting for you literally sitting and waiting or are they on an app are they at a restaurant are they at a party are they in another country it doesn't matter where they are they are waiting to be activated they are waiting to be activated who activates them to come find you to be attracted to you it could be someone who knows you who is not attracted to you at all but the moment you build your vessel expand your vessel Build Your Vessel to receive the light that is called Soul all of a sudden this person who is not attracted to you has a dream about you wakes up feeling funny about you can get you out of his or her mind starts looking you up and that's how it happens what happened he just woke up liking you when the day before he didn't she just woke up seeing you differently when the day before she thought you were obnoxious because of the work you have done to expand your vessel and the most powerful way to expand our vessel is prayer what is prayer I pray and I ask the Creator to help me change help me remove my doubts help me remove my fears help me remove my insecurities you see some insecurity come up pray to the Creator that you change not pray to the Creator that this person who's making you insecure will stop we're so busy praying to Kill the Messenger I pray that my husband becomes a better husband I pray that my wife will stop um not acknowledging me I pray that my boss will realize how important I am I pray that this deal will go through I pray that they will accept this offer on this house that I have made because I feel it's my home I pray that this plane takes off on time like this is what we're doing all day long we're praying for everyone else to stop what they're doing we're praying to God and telling him Hey listen I think you got it all wrong the timing is wrong the people are wrong why cuz I am very uncomfortable right now and I want you to fit inside my tiny little vessel that I do not want to expand or change right now sounds ridiculous so prayer is the most powerful way to expand now what are the three types of people and the three types of prayer Zora says there are three people who when they pray their words their voices penetrate the upper worlds and these words are so powerful to expand your vessel in order to let the light in it says the one is called the prayer of the poor the other is called the prayer of a king and the third is called the prayer of a spiritual Soul like a righteous Soul someone who is doing a lot of spiritual work on them so we have three types of people someone who is broken literally just broken not necess spiritual just broken going through a tough time going through a dark time nothing's working for them their ego is broken phys physically and spiritually then there's a king a person a president um someone who who runs a lot of um responsibilities someone it can be the president of a country a king of a country it can be CEO of a company it can be a vice president or a manager that has a lot of responsibility as long as there are people who rely on you it can be the head of the household it can be a father or a mother and you have a lot of children and you have a lot of responsibilities you become that King so to speak or that Queen and the and the third is a person who's just doing a lot of spiritual work break all the things we talk about breaking through your fears taking responsibility for everything transforming blame to personal transformation stopping reactive Behavior which we talked about in kabala onean stop reactive Behavior transforming the need for instant gratification there's so many things we've learned so many things in Kabal and this is a righteous spiritual person so whose prayer do you think is most powerful why does the king have a special access to the light because any King it can even be a negative King regardless of what you think of politics regardless of what you think of your president for whatever reason the creator has allowed this person to be in a position of power which also means that the creat will give a unique amount of energy wisdom creativity foresight and vision to that President because he or she is responsible for hundreds of millions of Souls and so you are given access to more light for those Souls now if the king or the president takes that light and abuses it is very destructive and negative and when the souls underneath do not receive this energy in this light there's obviously a revolt and then there's a coup and that's actually a spiritual reason why that happens if all three pray at the same time it says that the prayer of the poor is the most powerful one and will be heard first the prayer of the poor is the one not even the prayer of the spiritual person so imagine the most spiritual person in the World Imagine a spiritual leader imagine like a a Jesus coming back or Moses coming back or a Muhammad coming back or Abraham coming back right I mean we all might have different opinions about who are they and are they spiritual leaders but imagine like Souls big souls coming back they they could perform Miracles right they could speak to the worlds and change physicality yes they could but their words their power their of prayer would be second in line to that of a poor broken person now who is a poor broken person it is a person who has done everything in their power to heal to be successful to be spiritual you have done everything in your power to break through and you're and it still doesn't work and you feel like a loser you feel dark you feel rejected you feel like nothing is going your way you feel like and may maybe you have everything going your way but you feel the opposite you just don't feel the light your heart is broken this is a very powerful place to be this is actually the most powerful vessel to have at this state when your ego is completely broken you can ask for anything but here's the problem when we reach this very powerful place the negative side also knows the power of this vessel and so the negative side attacks you fiercely to draw you one degree lower into what's called sadness but when you enter sadness who is the sister of victim Consciousness who is the sister of laziness right so these are the three things being a victim being sad being La is so close to being broken but being broken and happy broken and resilient is the most powerful vessel being broken and sad broken and a victim broken and lazy is the most destructive vessel think about the people that we love being around people whose egos have been broken but they are happy and fighting we celebrate them we love them we cherish them we want to donate to them we create GoFundMe Pages for them we we we call in and check in on them and see how they're doing if they need something we give it to them we write movies and books about these people these are the people who went Oscars no I don't know uh a hero or a protagonist in a movie who basically had everything go wrong and then decided to be a victim blame everybody else be sad lazy and just sleep all day are we giving that person an Oscar are you crying at the end of this movie you're so depressed you're like why did I even watch this where's the happy ending worst movie of the year however this person goes through chaos turmoil trouble everything goes against them and they wake up and they say you know what I am sad I am frustrated I am angry I was hurt it is not fair but I'm going to be happy on demand I'm going to choose that certainty I'm GNA choose to be a giver someone needs something I don't want to give it to them all I want to do is mope and be into myself and eat and escape and go to my addictions but I'm not I'm going to move forward every day I'm going to create a structure even if I don't feel like it even if I don't feel like it I'm going to give I'm going to go to the gym I'm going to be spiritual I'm going to listen to this damn podcast I am going to be consistent about my spirituality but I don't feel it it doesn't matter these are the people 100% % of the time not only they become successful they become number one but number two we give Oscars to these people these are the movies these are the movies that touch our heart why because we see the whole journey of a broken vessel praying praying is not just words by the way praying is moving prayer is certainty prayer is showing through your thoughts words and actions that you want to be different and you're not blaming everybody else that's prayer of course when we talk about prayer we're talking about using your words as well talk out loud to the Creator ask for the strength to move forward another day ask for Wisdom ask for certainty ask for clarity you can ask for whatever you want but try not to ask for everybody else to change cuz then you're going to be stuck in a loop even if the whole world changed the world will just pass by you because you don't have the vessel to receive their change by the way if you pray for your husband to change enough he'll change he'll become great and then he'll leave you why you don't think I've heard this before I outgrew her I out I outgrew him we just didn't have the connection anymore I have a theory on this many times it's because we are pushing the other person to change and grow and we're praying subconsciously that they'll be different and guess what he heard your prayers she heard your prayers woke up one day started to have more certainty woke up one day started to have more confidence thanks to your prayers you expanded his vessel and then he woke up one morning and said wait why am I with you I know it's harsh what I'm saying but I want all of us my I'm talking to myself too I want all of us myself included to get out of the mindset that other people need to change the people we are attracting in our lives are the people that our vessel can handle that's it change the vessel we change the people what's a mantra for us that we can end with to tap into this week's energy Creator help me at every moment whether life is amazing or difficult to feel broken inside to [Music] feel that I am just a channel it's not me who's doing any of it and I need the light of the Creator that's how you know you're broken when you feel you need the Creator when you feel you don't need the Creator and you got it all handled you're not broken and Creator help me move forward be happy be resilient and I know I can only do it with you [Music]
