Rupert Spira speaks with Rick Archer about his path through Ouspensky, Krishnamurti, Ramana Maharshi, and Nisargadatta to his teacher Francis Lucille, who introduced him to Jean Klein's Direct Path lineage. The interview surveys his core teaching that experience itself is transparent — that the perceiver and the perceived share one substance — and walks through chapter-marked sections on Advaita-Vedanta, recognising 'home', and the nature of awareness.

Show the show notes

From an early age Rupert Spira was deeply interested in the nature of reality. For twenty years he studied the teachings of P.D.Ouspensky, J.Krishnamurti, Rumi, Shankaracharya, Ramana Maharshi, Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj and Robert Adams, until he met his teacher, Francis Lucille, in 1996. Francis introduced Rupert to the teachings of Jean Klein and Atmanada Krishnamenon and, more importantly, directly indicated to him the true nature of experience.
