Asked what caregivers can offer to people with physical or mental disabilities who can't consciously engage in a spiritual process, Sadhguru distinguishes the two cases — physical disability does not block inner practice, while distorted perception calls for sustained low-volume Maha Mantra exposure as a way in.

people with physical or mental disabilities um who may not be able to consciously partake in a in a spiritual process. Um what as care caregivers or family members or society can we do? >> Say uh physical dability does not come in the way because they still have normal ways of doing things within themselves. only in the society they may not be able to participate. But if they're mentally in such a state that your perception is all distorted then your memories also will be distorted. You will see they're compulsively one thing and it keeps running the same way. But if something else happens they may compulsively become that thing. So when there is such a state there are things we can do like for example the simple maha mantra you can just put it at low volume all the time 24 hours in such a person where such person lives slowly they will attune to themselves to that that will become their main memory. If that becomes their main memory, very easily you can dissolve such a being.
