Somebody texted me something on Dr. Joe. I said, you know, I've seen him. And I went on his website and I looked at the story transformation. And I balled. And I told my wife, "You got to see this." And she said, "If it's making you sad, stop watching." I said, "No, this is hope. I finally have hope." I was diagnosed in September 12th of 2019 with a very rare neurological disorder called multiple system atrophy, MSA type C. Most doctors have never even heard of it. I didn't know what it was. And then when I looked it up, it was devastating. It's uh life expectancy anywhere from 2 to 5 years or 6 to 9 years. Um, I think it's based off when your symptoms started or when your uh diagnosis was. My symptoms started several years prior to 2019. Diagnosis was then my life fell apart. The symptoms are too long to to go through. Uh, they were horrible and I had every single one of them. Within a month, I was using a cane uh to walk and then things went progressively uh pretty quickly downhill with the symptoms. You know, Parkinson's related, tremors, uh not sleeping. It's it was a nightmare and it went on for about 2 years. I was told about a documentary called Heal, H A H E A L. And Dr. Joe was a big part of that and I probably watched it 30 times and I was get something new. I loved it and when I listened to Dr. Joe I couldn't do it. Uh I wasn't buying it. I didn't believe it. I just blew it off. And then it was August, a little over four years from now. Uh somebody texted me something on Dr. Joe. I said, "You know, I've seen him." And I went on his website and I looked at the story transformation. And I baldled. And I told my wife, "You got to see this." And she said, "If it's making you sad, stop watching." I said, "No, this is hope. I finally have hope. I got to go see him." So, we booked. It was December 2021 in Cancun. One few days ago, Dr. show Dr. Joe showed the the young guy getting up with ALS. I was there. It was very emotional for me. And then shortly thereafter, a guy came up and did a testimony. And I he said, "Two years ago, I was given two months to live because he had a brain tumor that says a baseball inoperable. get your affairs in order. And he he could hardly talk. He couldn't walk. He was in a wheelchair. And I'm watching him do a testimonial, talking, walking because he he went all in. He every morning 5:00 a.m. Every evening 5:00 p.m. He he meditated and his tumor is almost gone. I said, "I'm in." But I committed every morning, every night, and usually once in the afternoon when I get nauseous. Didn't matter. In the morning, I have a great meditation. I'd seen my future. I'm going to be healthy. I get out of bed and I collapse to the ground. Have to crawl to the bathroom. And so, I had to battle that every day. Most days were horrible. Some days were just bad. Very rarely did I have I didn't have good days. But I never stopped. I was so happy to actually start doing things and feeling decent. Uh I got away from meditation cuz somebody said to me, "Whatever you're doing, keep doing it." I thought, "Okay, well, I'll take a little break from meditation." But then when about a year and a half and I fell back into bad habits, anger resentment jealousy impatience and drinking other things excessively. I fell I shared my ankle. So I went back from awfulness, thinking I'm dying to having some independence to then back to being in a scooter, having my wife help me get out of the shower. and had a month of horrible depression and then light went on. Okay, back into meditation. Meditation is the absolute key and there are other things to help with this disease and I'm already helping others. I know that cuz I just started to I'm going to do more and I hope it's this video will be a part of it. Uh thank you Dr. Joe for helping me heal myself. and give me a gift now that I know that I'm going to do the rest of my life and that's to help others. It saved my life.
