A documentary record of Sadhguru's 2025 motorcycle pilgrimage to Mount Kailash, undertaken while still recovering from two brain surgeries. He frames the ride as a public initiation rather than personal achievement, restating his view that no human being should exist on the planet without some form of initiation.

If you long to come to Kailash, come. Kalash is open and calling you all the time. Let's take one piece home. That's all. When a head is broken, I thought it's best to put it in Shiva's lap. Shiva means that which is not all there is. >> No stopping straight to the camp. Namaskar Sgpu. I want to attend Samadi. I will sir somebody will come. I'll go to wa what a wonderful group of people by absolutely spectacular. I have a weakness for mountains. This is not about me. This is not about Shiva. This is not about something. This is about you. Yoga is the science. Tantra is the practice technology. They they think TN is a country. There's no money. There's no gold. There's no conquest to be done just to experience something. No human being should exist on the planet without some sort of initiation. Thanks to the Chinese engineers, what a wonderful drive it's become. It used to be a really treacherous and dangerous segment at one time. Well, I fell yesterday. The terrain was bad. The motorcycle engine was coughing a bit and I fell. But uh nothing trip life trip. >> No, no, no. I'm okay. Uh, time to hit the roads. I think we've passed the most treacherous terrain. We are welcoming Sguru to the Nepal. I feel so fast. Oh, so We're not going out to see. >> Honestly, I don't know what this trip is all about. But if I'm really honest, I don't know what it's all about. I just really want to perceive something that is beyond my normal limits of perception. >> And I'm open to what it has to teach me about myself, about the world, about consciousness. So I think maybe my curiosity has brought me. >> I passed my medical. I'm proud of that. Hi Lash 2025 through Tibet which is now spelled C H I N A >> lot of expectations that we're I'm trying to set aside and just be can I look at the camera plan is to be with some group that's the plan what's happening here is we are doing sound check and uh for the performance tomorrow deciding the That's it. >> It's almost time to perform, but we're doing sound check. >> I guess that will go in the song. >> Yeah, exactly. >> And Batana is wondering how much longer this is going to take. >> I don't want something in the middle. I don't want something in between. I just want to get to the end and then see what what's the ultimate I'm Shand. But why a pilgrimage? Why can't it be done at home? Well, about kyash, we will see what it is. And it's not something that we can fill with words. We will go step by step towards kalash. But why a pilgrimage to consciously live homeless for some time? Hello. Homeless not out of desperation. Homeless out of freedom. Freedom is a consequence. When you talk about a consequence without being committed to the process, always it turns ugly. This is what has happened to religion on the planet. Uh we will put this habaya sutra on you. Please check your talking about God or heaven without understanding what is the process which could elevate a human being to that place. It's time you make truth your only authority. Only then you will progress towards Kalash. Oh, >> we are at temple. We got beautiful dash, but unfortunately cameras are not allowed there. just a very powerful space and every time you go there something happens which just tells you he's definitely uh he's definitely there in control. >> We also saw some cremations which happened on the bank of Mmati river. >> It was something actually Oh, this is big dinner in progress. Let me see. >> The first night I saw Sguru when he was walking around tables. Oh, I my mind froze and I didn't know what to do, what not to do. >> Is he binging over the table? >> Oh my god. >> So, it's really nice to, you know, kind of casually see him just roaming to see this side of him. >> Oh my god, they're shooting all this. It's really nice to just hang out and chill. >> He's my sanity. >> Why is this college going girl here? >> Great day. And we're not even out on the mountain. So fantastic. So right now we're going to tracking You know, if you walk around Bhaktapur, it pretty much looks like a movie set, you know. You know, I've never seen a place which is so culturally rich and the architecture is so beautiful. >> There are temples everywhere, every step. This is not about God. This is not about heaven. This is about shredding this planet with mother earth gently. It feels like we're in the middle of a cloud. And everything is hazy, surreal, very beautiful. The whole place smells of this misty, you know, the green forest. >> Sorry, I'm cold. tonight get enough sleep and get recharged because I feel like this is a rare opportunity to sleep nicely long 7 8 hours maybe. Uh after this I don't know when I'll get to sleep that much again. See through the evolution of human development which set us apart from other creatures is the development of our cerebral cortex. Cerebral cortex is largely free of survival instincts. It wants to expand. This longing to expand is that possibility which creates the possibility of expanding limitlessly and coming to a state which you can call as liberated or you can say it's mti because the boundaries vanished. So how do you culture your mind in such a way that it allows expansion? It releases you from the concerns of survival where boundary was very important in many ways. The very fundamentals of the basic programs that you've gone through is just this. I shouldn't be telling you all this. See, your ability to respond is your ability to expand. Yes or no? Your ability to accept is your ability to expand. Is that so? Your ability to see and discern that what I am is not the body or the mind is also ability to expand. Your ability to hold everybody as your own. Being a mother to the world is again ability to expand. So these are instruments to make mind a process of expansion not a process of limitation. Shall we meditate? >> I think today's satsang was the first powerful satssung. >> Little away from each of because you need to expand. Take a deep breath. He was humming. >> More your attention to the top of the head. >> I was very emotional that time. >> Stop crying. I don't know where these tears are coming. And I don't know what to call those tears, but there were a lot of tears. >> While in the session, my whole being was just screaming sguru. He just made a whole big universe world within me. I just threw myself to the process. I don't feel like I have to go to Kash. Maybe this is Kyash. Just hope like I can live like this forever. >> Oh, what did this being ambushed? >> Somebody sing a song. >> That sounds like a long haul. Now we just move. What are you keeping dab? >> I have 41 and 20 is 35. So, tomorrow morning, let's boom. >> Yes. Let's go. We are all set. Finally, we are going to be entering China. >> Run, run, run. Finally on the road. So excited. One of the first cut puncher puncher. That's why we stop here. I'm a biker, too. My dream came true. >> It's getting really, really hot. Very grally, sharp stones. Just reducing the air pressure. This is nothing. What's coming is big. >> The portion of the L. >> Just walk it and see how it is. Yes. >> So, we'll push five. This will push. The road is not good. You have to walk alone in there. >> Yeah, we push after that there is hello. no ship. >> We just crossing over. >> We just made it through Chinese customs. This is what happened. Look at this. Very few places like this on the planet. So pictures and like the clouds like just passing around us at in certain points like we can't even see the road. We left Dulle at 9:00 in the morning and uh we reached Nelam Chinese time around 9:30. So approximately 10 plus hours we were riding on the motorcycle. So today we travel to Saga. So which used to be a city of literally a saga but now I think it's much better. So these are my two core riders. One is riding a tiger, another is riding a cow. I'll talk about their vehicles later. That's spectacular valley out here beside a large lake. Behind me, as you can see, snowclad mountains, well laid out roads, and fantastic ride on the way to Saga. Temperature is dropping slowly. I love you. >> I love you so much. >> I love you. Hi, what happened? >> Let's look at it like this. What is kalas? Kalash does not mean a place. Kalash is a phenomenon. To put it in the simplest possible way, if you move away from the trap of your own body and mind, you're in chaos. If you dip into that, if it sticks to you, the quality of your life is altered for good. You can call that Shiva, you can call that kailas, you can call it whatever nonsense you want. We're in China now. >> Savox and doctors. >> Yes. >> Sometime I feel medical screening I have to manage so many kids because we want to make sure everyone comes. We want to make sure their blood pressure is good and oxygen levels are good. >> If someone is very dehydrated, we are asking them to drink more water. We have increased their Dimox dose. >> I think majority of our team members they are doing good. >> Shiva, >> our first walk in Saga. This will help us acclimatize. >> We're all ready for rain. We're all ready for anything. Please everyone walk slowly at your own pace. >> And it's nice and cold outside. It's also a little bit sunny. Eggs have no business dancing with stones. >> What does it mean? >> Work it out. It's quite simple. If you're fragile, you shouldn't do hardcore things with hardcore people. >> Oh my god. >> Eggs have no business dancing. >> It's like a nice gap. >> You're completely missing the man. Watch it. Watch it. >> What happened? >> She She fell down. >> What kind of pain? >> Fracture. the bone or cartilage patella that's in front of the knee fracture. >> I will take care of you. Just relax. Just relax. Just relax. >> He's stable. Yeah. He looks like he need a car. It's coming. >> That's good. >> All right. only two people it's also going basically took her in within 5 minutes cat scan was done they confirmed the diagnosis within 2 hours we were out of the hospital and we came back uh come so far and the small thing. I don't take hammocks. Just the altitude a little bit. Altitude makes the air rare. Air becomes rare means there's less oxygen. If you reach over 15,000 which is right now what may be at sea level it's 60% of that oxygen. So you have to breathe 40% harder at least to get the same oxygen. I don't feel like I have to go to gyash. Maybe this is sky sh. >> See there are very sophisticated forms of ritual and worship and practice but the larger mass of people did their own some little thing out of their heart. See uh when somebody is not educated in formal sense does not mean they have no sense. They have a lot of sense and their sense is related to their life about how this works. How this works? What really works for me that they have sense. Such a woman uh pours her heart out in a simple form in Canada language Karnataka where I was born. Sandep will sing this song for you. You can't get it better. That was the first time I really felt the power of I've never felt it to this extent. I I had no idea. I I really I didn't know when I signed up. That was what I was going for. >> I've known him for 6 years now that I'm conscious of. And the way my life's transformed in that time, I could never put into words. He is pure love. >> You know a parent's love which beats all love. >> But his love is at a different level. If you are open enough to experience it, it's magical. He's magic. >> Well, we are uh entering the yogi's territory. So, how you go there? Are you going to go in a great sense of receptivity or are you going to go like a concrete block of knowledge and stupid stuff that you have in your head? If you leave it here and go up the mountain, it'll be wonderful. >> Love you. Love you. Love you. Very happy. >> 5:00 wake up. If there's one day I'm really looking forward to, it's today. But >> I believe we are going to be camping near a very beautiful uh lake >> and uh wake up to nature camp under the stars. >> I'm feeling a little cold inside this jacket. >> Yes. >> Fingers crossed. >> You sit at the back. Slow ride very slowly. >> Okay. >> Okay. Uh, I go first. You follow me. >> I don't think it's a real flat. Maybe the valve something funny. Some m something must have gone in. >> How much number? >> 30 is okay. >> 30 is okay. >> I think this is high altitude is different. You know, check. >> I'm okay. >> Okay. Even here you eat mal. This is >> 4,790 m. That's the altitude we're hitting right now. There are mountains, there's a lake, and there are tents, and there's no one else other than us. >> The freshness of the air. I can't get over the crispness of the air. Wilderness at its best. Made easy by Isa. And I'm having my masala tea here with amazing view. I really enjoy it. The food was amazing for the cold weather, eating hot food. Lovely food it was. >> I was just about to take a short nap and then they said pack up everything in one hour. Like okay. They were saying that um it's 60 years of uh celebration of Tibet and um and which is why you know they there was some VIP movement and other things which is what which is why they asked us to move and I don't know how but they managed to find rooms for everyone at a nearby hotel but uh totally happy with this place as Well, so good scenery. Now you're boxed. Heat. Heat. How are you? How are you? >> Personal heater on the road. Kalash is a unimaginable kind of library but not organized in the way people are used to. It's very different. It doesn't give away. It draws you. >> So, Guru just arrived at Mansover. >> Yeah, we just waited here since yesterday actually. I don't know what happened here, but I just saw Gulu come here and it was so so light in my view. Just a kind of a soft air. Um yeah, no words can express the feeling I love everything. Magical. >> Yeah, I'm so happy. We got to uh walk to Lake Monzer over. >> As we were walking, somebody shouted, "Kalash, south face of Kalash. It was um it was a very emotional moment for some of us. I just started crying so hard. My body is responding to Kashi like from far distance. I feel like we're communicating. It's better than everything what I expected actually. Nothing beats all the stories and the videos and the images is beyond all of that. It takes you in, you know. Um, and once you start gazing, you can't look away. You just can't look away. And the best part is you can see Kyash from here. And one side is Kylash and one side is Manser. My mind was blown as soon as I seen it. Turquoise icy blue. >> It is so blue. It's so wide you just cannot ignore it. >> You know there is a mythical sense flavor to this place >> and I felt like time was I don't know I felt like time dimension was different. I think uh one time in your life you can visit this place to feel it because feeling uh the most important there. Oh, I know. Waiting for the participants to arrive so we can start the process. Yeah. Sh. Yeah. Sh. Yeah. This came in sick. It's beyond my comprehension, but it's mindblowing. >> My energy system has been touched to a dimension that I have never been before. >> You definitely feel an upsurge of energy distinctly make up. They asked us to gaze at the lake. Suddenly I felt as if I went into the lake. Like I can't really explain. I just felt like I was one with the lake. I was one with Mars. When the cham shambo were going going on, I know that that that leg is her home. That is her home. >> That is her home. >> Shamb. And then after the process we got to touch the water of uh manasur but then when you touch the water it's this pleasant warm temperature. It's not cold. It's not freezing. Manu is just alive. Alive with millions of microorganisms and it's clear water. >> Yeah. special. >> Sguru's presence was felt in every breath and there's nothing more needed. Namaskar. Good boy. Sh. my manipula would become hollow and like it becomes a vacuum or something. So I would oh now I can experience it. So I would had I had to scream >> four people at a time and close me sit around me with four at a time. My guru has done so much for me. My mother has done so much for me. The only way I will do anything so to repay them is to give my everything is ya. So Oh my god. The first time when we see it, they felt like it's like a spine. The first things I noticed when we started crossing was Yamir. The second thing I noticed was the rocks falling from the cliff. Any break he took was just to look at Kyash when we had a clear view. Then he'll keep walking. Boy, did the trek kick my butt. I think every mile we had to stop. >> The three mile hike was definitely challenging. >> Having a break and taking snacks here is quite refreshing. Every time I felt like oh I cannot do more I would just look at the Kalash mountain and I don't know from where but I got a lot of strength. >> Every step was difficult. One way it was good I could see Kalash all through the journey. You know I could behold all the faces of Kalash. Then when I looked at him once he just said like this come sing anything you want to sing whatever comes to your mind you just sing any like ragam I love Ah, it's absolutely absolutely Absolutely worth every minute, every effort, every gram of energy your body is spending. >> But when you come here and you see this and you experience this, >> that was incredible. >> Yeah. >> Guruji and Kaiwash together. That moment I will cherish. Guru and the Aiguru together. And he he started chanting and even he was emotional. He started crying during uh this this uh chant. He's just feeling. You should be there to feel it. >> It's impossible uh to to explain. Not just me, even others were crying. And uh at that point it kind of it trickled into me in a big way that he's taking so much pain, so much effort to make this journey happen for us. And now we're here at the the north face of it. Now Kell look much bigger. It looks profound and so holy or so godlike. If you see the mountains besides it, they are completely different kind of a color or different hue and texture. This mountain is different. We're super lucky we have such a clear view. >> You look at Kalash and tears would roll down everything. >> I felt a deep sense of like love. I felt uh I felt that everything will be fine from now onwards. >> It's very precious. That's for sure. >> So intense that it just crackles you up like your spine will chill. >> I don't know why I come here but every year I come here. I was in such a state of abandon I've never been in before. Like it's cold, it's cold, it's okay. I just want to sit there. It's night. Dogs are working. I want to sit there. few minutes I I don't know what happened like I I'm just not aware of anything. uh for a few minutes >> I just felt like Kash was inside me and then it just started expanding expanding and expanding to a level that it just burst me open and I was no more there. Then the next day we had a a process with Sguru. >> We were all shivering. I layered up four, five, five layers on the top, four layers at the bottom. And then Sguru comes. So K lash just right in front of my eyes. >> Suddenly the sun comes out. And then um he embraced everyone. When I hugged him, it was almost like he does not have a body. It was like I was enveloped in his clothing, but there was not a huge feeling that there was a person inside. That's why the hug was like a hug of uh like a father. >> Maybe mother can do it. >> No mother, father, lover, no one can embrace you that way. It just felt like I was in his warm womb. >> I've heard his heart beating. So it's with me right now. It's heartbeat. >> He just showed me how what life is. Making something not part of you as part of you is yoga. I think that's what Sguru did. He just made me part of himself. It was 30 seconds for all of us, >> but I think for all of us, it's going to be 30 seconds that we never ever forget for the rest of our lives. I I I still don't know what Shiva is, but if if what I understand, I I just think he's an extension of Shiva. >> Yes. That which is not that is everything to me. more than a guru, more than a dimension that I understand today.
