How do we respond to what the world brings to our doorstep? And I think this is this is what's so important because we're conditioned to believe that we are powerless beings, that we are weak in the presence of external [snorts] influences. And when we feel that weakness, we become victims. And as victims, we need to turn to something outside of our bodies to save us. What the new science, the best science of the modern world is showing reflects the wisdom of our most ancient and cherished spiritual traditions. The traditions of the indigenous people that I've had the opportunity to spend so much time with. The words that help us to change the way we feel about ourselves in the presence of whatever the world is showing us out there. The words that literally shift our perceptions. And what you're going to see is that the words are much more than simply vibrations that we make to express ourselves. There's a chemical component. There is an emotional component. There's a psychological component. Certainly, there's a spiritual component. So, there is a place where science and spirituality, ancient wisdom, and everyday life come together in a really beautiful way. And that's what the wisdom codes are really all about. That's what this module is all about. Module one, the words are the codes. What we're beginning to understand is that when we speak a word, it sets into motion an entire process that we are so accustomed to experiencing and we're so masterful at doing, we seldom give it another thought. So, modern science tells us that the average person in their mind speaks between 60,000 and 80,000 words every day of our lives. Sometimes the words are a lot of the same. There's a lot of repetition, but those words are programs. We're telling ourselves something 60 to 80,000 times a day. And those words, they affect our immune system. They affect our heart rate variability. They affect our blood pressure. They affect the chemistry in our bodies. But they even go beyond that. The words have the power to actually upregulate and downregulate the genes of our DNA that create the template that form the very template for the essence of our being just from a word. Wow. When you really think about it, words are very very important whether we speak them or whether we think them. So I I think as I mentioned that most of us intuitively we sense that there's more to our words and I just want to give you an example. You know the poet Emily Dickinson, she may have said this the best. She said, and this is a direct quote. She said, "I know nothing in the world that has as much power as a word." Okay, that's not science. That's intuitive. But I think we reflect that they are determining how we think about our lives. But doesn't stop there because the words that you and I use actually determine what we are even capable of thinking about. Wow. Now think about that. The words that you and I use determine how the neurons in our brain that we know are there and now we know those neurons are in our heart as well. The words that we use determine how those neurons wire and fire together. And that determination is what gives us the ability to think in new and exciting ways to think outside the box. What do we even conceive of as a possibility in our lives? Many people think that words are benign. I've had people say to me, "Oh, it's just a word." And it can be just a word. But what they may not really understand, what they may not recognize is how that word informs the way that they think about themselves. The word I'm going to give you some examples here in just a moment from the indigenous traditions. But before I ever even begin doing that, this whole course is based upon words and the way they influence us. So I want you to see for yourself right now. want you to see how neurons reach out for one another. Neurons are social cells. They love to hook up. Neurons are looking for a hookup. They are looking for other neurons that have like chemistry so that they can connect and build what we call neural networks. Those neural networks determine how you and I solve our problems, the kinds of relationships that we choose, how we heal our bodies, what we think is good for our families and for our communities. Those those neural hookups determine how we choose our social policies in the world, the laws that we enact. It's all about the way that we've been taught to think about ourselves. So throughout my time with the indigenous peoples, I saw them implement these principles without knowing the science. And that's the beauty of what you and I are going to do. I'm going to share with you the science of this course. You're going to learn about some indigenous traditions. You're going to learn about many ancient scriptures and scrolls. You're going to learn about the very precise words that have been preserved through time that have been handed down to us through the prayers and the mantras, the hymns and the chants. Those who have come before us, the words that help them in their lives in times of need. If they help them for thousands of years, there's a reason those words were preserved for so long. It's because they work. If they work for them, probably going to work for you and I as well. I'm going to share personal stories of how I've applied these things in my life. You're going to learn some science, but I want you to know the science doesn't have to be technical. You know, nature is simple. Science is simple. The world is simple until we make it complex. So, yes, it's possible. We can use complex words. We can use mathematic formulas, algorithms, equations if we want to engineer the science. The time lapse is 72 hours. the neuron that you're seeing on your left, that neuron is looking for another neuron to hook up with. So, you see there's a search down below. There's no neurons there. And then there's there's another search off to your right. And all of a sudden, there's another neuron there, and it begins to to hook up and connect. Now, these are two neurons that are doing this. What I want you to know is that your neural network in your heart and your brain are made of many, many neurons. So when you use very precise words in times of need, when you're frightened or when you need strength or when you feel that you need protection, those words are setting into motion a cascade of events that begin with a chemical in your body influencing neurons. The way the neurons connect and as those neurons find new pathways to connect, you begin to think differently. Isn't that cool? You begin to think differently because you chose to feel differently. And in those new connections, it opens the door to new possibilities, new solutions. It's called thinking outside the box. If you think like everybody else thinks, you're always going to come up with the same solutions that everybody else comes up with. And if they don't work for those people, they're not going to work for you as well. So is it possible that our ancestors like the Hopi that they understood intuitively a connection that we're only beginning to understand to the best science of the modern world and if so what role did their language play in helping them to apply that understanding in their lives in their world and I I think this is this is a beautiful example of why the language is so important the western languages we live in separation there's always you and me them and us there and then and now. And I'm not saying that that's bad. I'm saying we can become aware of other ways of thinking, new ways of thinking. We can become aware of the power when we choose to shift the way that we think. We are changed in the presence of that thinking. And the words are the key. The words are the key to do this. So from the hopy perspective, we are shown the power of becoming aware, becoming conscious of the words that we choose when we express to the world around us what we're feeling in the world within us and when we share that with other people when we write this for our children and how we invite our children to connect with the world as well. And I've selected very specific patterns of words and these are the words that we call the mantras, the chants. we call the hymns in the ancient Gnostic and Christian traditions we call prayers the very very powerful words that people for thousands of years have turned to and I've categorize them uh in categories like protection and love and fear and this is what we're going to do in this course we're going to go through each category individually but even more than that even more than that uh what I found is in addition addition to saying the words that there's a state of being that our ancestors learned to put themselves into so that the words would be even more potent, even more effective and have greater influence in their lives. And I'm going to share that technique with you as well. So each module, each of the nine modules, we're going to learn a word code and then we will immerse ourselves in a physiological space that optimizes that word pattern in our bodies so it is the most effective when you need it the most. So I hope that you're as excited about this as I am. This is going to bring us to a close of this first module, module number one. With the completion of this module, my my goal was that you would have an understanding of why we're doing what we're doing. You know, we could have just jumped in and started talking about the words. Your mind and your heart would probably have a lot of questions. Hopefully, I've answered some of those questions. What you now know is that the words are more than the vibrations that you create through your breath and through your vocal cords. And that the words have a powerful influence on the chemistry and the biology of your body. You know, the term for this is plasticity. I know you're probably familiar with the term neuroplasticity, meaning the neurons can be changed. What science now knows is we have biological plasticity, bioplasticity. Our organs can change, our cells can change, we have genetic plasticity. Our DNA and our genes can change. And it all is in response to what we call epigenetic triggers. Epigenetics means the world around us. The words are part of that shift. So, in our next module, module two, we're going to begin exploring this technique, this very, very powerful technique that we'll use throughout the course. By the end of this course, you're going to be really, really good. You'll be a master at the technique as well as as the words and what they mean. Simple and easy technique. So [music] he was an explorer. He was a searcher. He was a mystic. He was always looking beyond the obvious. He was looking for the deeper explanation of what's happening in the world and what's happening in life. In the 19th century is when he lived and he began a journey exploring the world for a mystical monastery that many people had heard of that no one had ever discovered. Well, he found the monastery and he also found the reason why no one has discovered it and come back to tell about it. Because the way the monastery was kept secret is those who are fortunate enough to find it were never allowed to leave. Once they found that monastery, they were invited to stay there for the rest of their lives to dedicate their lives to the service and to the practice of the secrets that were conveyed in in the monastery. So obviously Gerjif was allowed to leave at a point later in his life so that he could account for what it was that happened or recount what happened through his notes and his memoirs. It's a very very powerful movie. It's it is a movie about what is called the Sarong Brotherhood. This is a mysterious brotherhood hidden in the mountains of Eastern Asia. And he never tells the exact location of this uh of this monastery. Uh, I know that there are other monasteries as well that have similar wisdom in the Andes, the unexplored portions of the Andes in in southern Peru near the Peruvian Bolivian border. So, it is a brotherhood that has preserved the mystical secrets of human mastery. Stay here until you acquire force in you that nothing can destroy. Well, the condition that the teacher was describing is about an extraordinary power that lives inside of every one of us. I want to be really clear about this. You already have the power. You were born with the power. But what sets those apart who choose to awaken this power from those that do not is just that. It is choice. It is the power of choice. You are the only form of life that we know of today that can consciously at will on demand sit down in a moment in time and say in this moment I choose. I choose to awaken this extraordinary potential that's inside of me. But the choice is not enough. It's a first step. It's important. Once the choice is made, then we are invited to go through the steps, go through the process to support that choice and awakening that power in our lives so that we can we can achieve this this great potential. And there is a direct relationship between our inner strength and our choice. So while we always have that strength, we've got to choose. We've got to choose. Science is doing a pretty good job of that. And many people don't like what science is saying because the new scientific discoveries have overturned 150 years of scientific thinking. So for example, I mentioned in the previous module when I was in school back in 1950s, 1960s, early 1970s, I was taught that the universe is dead. that we are the product of of this primal explosion, this release of energy called the big bang that set into motion the series of events through lucky physics. We happen to be in just the right place at just the right time, just the right conditions to create just the right elements that create the molecules and the atoms of our bodies. And here we are. And and through an equally mysterious process of biology called lucky biology that we are the product of random mutations that just happen to have come together to give us these extraordinary unique potentials that we experience as human beings. This is what I was taught, probably what you were taught. What we're teaching our kids today, the new discoveries are telling us these things aren't true. And I summarized this essentially. I said that the new science is showing the universe appears to be conscious alive. So in a very similar way, you and I are being asked to do what Gerchief was being asked to do in his life because we're learning new things about ourselves. And and our world is changing so quickly in one lifetime that we have to mourn what we have lost. We have to mourn the passing of the old ways of life to make room for the new things that are coming into our lives. And that takes a very special being. It takes a being that has awakened an inner strength so that we don't get lost in the fear of the uncertainty. You know, we all sense this. The world that we knew before 2020, before COVID, for example, that world is disappeared. We can't go back to that world. There's a new world that's emerging, but it's not here yet. And we're being asked to live our lives and to have jobs and careers and families and relationships and find happiness in the uncertainty of where this world is going without getting lost in the fear. Inner strength is the key to do that. That's what we're going to do right now. You know, our ancestors in many ways, they had to do something very similar. Not just GIF and his journey, but our indigenous ancestors 400 years ago, the great wisdomkeepers of the American desert southwest near where I live, for example, they had to find an inner strength. The ancient Navajo, their world was changing in ways very similar to the changes we see today. They had climate change. We can see that through through the the ancient records, through the tree rings, we can see there was tremendous drought. The rains didn't come, the food didn't grow, they were starving, it was hot. They had to deal with the social consequences. They had to deal with war from other other communities that wanted what they had. 400 years ago, the Navajo of the American desert southwest that called themselves the DNA, the DNA people. It's the Westerners that called them the Navajo. They had to find a way to transform this inner pain to survive the conditions of their outer world. And to do that, they had to find emotional anchors within themselves, core beliefs that gave them the strength to do that. So they could they could survive the suffering of the droughts and the heat and the lack of food and the social unrest. So in a very real sense, the sceneryy's changed. 400 years later, we're dealing with a lot of the same issues. The wisdom code I'm going to share with you is a particular wisdom code for strength and it comes directly from the Navajo traditions. It is a prayer and I'm sharing with you an abbreviated version of the prayer so that can be used quickly. The extended version is very lengthy. You will see it in the book if you're interested in the extended version. So this is an informal version of what the Navajo call the beauty prayer. The Navajo perceived beauty is much more than an aesthetic. It was something more than saying, "Oh, you know, the sunset is is beautiful." To the ancient Navajo, beauty was literally a force of nature. Now, our physicists today acknowledge four fundamental forces of nature, and you're probably familiar with them. Gravity is a force of nature. The electromagnetic force is a force of nature. The strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force are also forces of nature. And scientists, physicists acknowledge those four forces. And the Navajo do as well. They say there's always been a fifth force, and it is the force of beauty. Now, I'm going to invite you to think about this. us such a different way to think about beauty as literally a physical force that changes the world and changes our bodies. And this is just what they say. So, I'm particularly drawn to this prayer because beauty has always been a powerful force in in my life. I'll just I'll just share with you on a very personal level. I think many of you know I'm I'm a scientist um degreed earth scientist with a strong background in the life sciences and math physics computer science I worked as a scientist in the universities I worked in the science as a scientist in the in the corporations and when I left the corporations in 1990 to begin writing full-time I had to make a choice I said do I want to live in a place that's convenient which I've done all of my life in a big city where I wake up in the morning and I'm surrounded by those conveniences or do I want to live in a place that's beautiful? I want to say to you, you are changed in the presence of the beauty. Now you know why? Because we've had the modules that help us to know why. When you change the way you feel, >> remember for every feeling, every emotion, there's a chemical that your body is producing. When you perceive that beauty, you begin generating beauty chemistry in your body. And that's very different than hate chemistry. It's very different than fear chemistry. And this is where we find our inner strength. When we choose to create these chemicals in our bodies, when we choose to create this power of beauty that gives us an inner strength and that strength is very very perceptible from others around you. When you find the strength and you walk into a room, people may not know why, but they know there's something about you. something about you that inspires them. They may be drawn to it because they want it for themselves. It's not about ego. It's just about us being the best version of ourselves in whatever circumstance life brings to our doorstep. Our cells, our neurons and our chemistry are changed in the presence of this beauty. This is where we find our our real strength. This is how how we do this. So the power of this first wisdom code, wisdom code number one, it comes from repeating the the beauty prayer from repeating it to imprint a code upon the subconscious mind, but it comes from doing it from a place of heartbrain coherence. So as I promised in the last module from every every code that we use we're going to create the coherence first and then into that place of coherence we will drop our beauty code. So when we create this heartb brain coherence we open a clear channel to communicate directly with the subconscious mind. You don't have to use hypnosis to access the subconscious. This is a hotline and we will do it for every wisdom code. So, I'm saying this to you now in more detail. We won't need this much detail as we go through. From a place of heartbrain harmony, I'm going to invite you to recite either out loud if you can or silently in your mind the three lines of the beauty prayer until you feel a shift in your sense of hopelessness or powerlessness in whatever situation faces you because that shift will happen. Say this to yourself again and again from the place of coherence thinking about the power of beauty and what I've shared with you. And the key is doing [music] the Hebrew Torah is the first five books of the Christian Old Testament. So Genesis Exodus Leviticus Numbers Deuteronomy, the Torah are the first five books and then the Christian Old Testament continues from there. So there are 39 books in total in this Old Testament. Now, what's really interesting is for the first 18 books before the book of Psalms and the 20 books that come after the book of Psalms, all of those books before and after, there's a common theme in all of them in that they are instructions from God to the people of the earth in terms of how to conduct our lives and how to pray and the things to do. The 18 books before Psalms, the 20 books after are instructions given to us from a higher power for the people of the earth. The book of Psalms is different. It's the only book, the unique book, it does just the opposite. There are 2,461 verses that make up the biblical book of Psalms. And every one of those verses are prayers designed to be offered to God rather than information received from God. Isn't that interesting? The book of Psalms is a fascinating book. Uh and there have been entire books written about the book of Psalms because it is so unique. So you can think of the book of Psalms essentially as prayers. They're readymade prayers. It's all about what happened on Mount Si. The second time that Moses climbed Mount Si, he had an experience that was very different from the first time. Now, when we talk about these biblical traditions, I'm I'm going to invite you. They may be considered as religious books. However, I am considering these as historic records of events that happened that may have religious uh implications as well. So even if you're not into the religion, if you can embrace this as a historic record, which historians and archaeologists have been able to prove, archaeologists have found the remnants and historians now have accepted that the events in many of the events in in the Old Testament, including Moses climbing Mount Si actually happened. So Moses climbed Si on multiple occasions. The second time that Moses climbed Mount Si, he was engulfed in an energy of something. Now, the biblical texts say it looked like a smoke that engulfed him and it prevented the people at the bottom of the mountain from being able to see Moses. They couldn't see what was happening to him. Prevented him from looking outside of that cloud for a a frame of reference to feel supported. If you could read it one more time. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress, my God. In him will I trust. In those lines, although it may not be outwardly obvious, attributes of God's power are identified through different names. Let me share with you those names and let's go through and see what each one means individually. The first is most high. When you see the secret place of the most high, he that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high, that means he that identifies with this name of God. Most high is the first secret name of God shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. The almighty is a different facet of God's power and it is a secret second coded name. I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge, my fortress. Lord is one of the coded names of God. It's a little a little more obvious. And the last one, my God with a capital G. My God in him will I trust. These are the four coded names. We are being given the deeper insight into what God most high is. God most high, creator of heaven and earth. God most high who delivers your enemies into your hand. All right. The second coded name, Almighty. It's typically translated um from Aramaic once again as Shadai. Shadai is the way that this is pronounced and it literally means almighty or El Shadai meaning God Almighty. So this is a different facet of God. It's one of the seven names of God that have been substituted over 6,800 times in the Hebrew Torah. Uh, some of you may be aware of this. In the original Hebrew Torah, if you go back over 2500 years, the the Torah, the first five books of the Old Testament, it's one of the most stable of the religious documents in history. When we look at the Torah as it was written 2500 years ago and we look the Torah as is today, there are only about 23 words that have changed in some form or another, making this a very stable text. And this is why when the rabbis, maybe you've seen this in some of the television documentaries, when the rabbis are creating a new Torah scroll by hand, you know, they're you often see them, they're they're in the library and they're kind of hunched over with a quill pin. And they are creating very intentionally every letter because they say if one letter is misrepresented, that letter can change the history. The six other names just in case you're interested is ayah which means I will be zavat which means host alohim which means gods. El means god and eloha also means god. So these are the the words that have been replaced. I I don't want to digress too much, but I I want to be complete on what I'm saying to you because what the the interpretations of the original scripts are now saying to us is that these ancient names of God were never to be spoken. But that doesn't mean they were never to be used. Because if you speak a name, it's a common name. Like if I speak the name Greg, it's a common name. The names of God, these names were so sacred. They were so special. They were never to be spoken like a common name. They were to be sung and they were to be sung in toned through the vowels. In the Hebrew tradition, the vowels that create the name of God actually resonate with the energy centers, the chakras in the human body. So when we sing the ancient name of God, it's called the divine name. What we're doing is we are resonating the vows of God's name with the energy centers in the human body becoming one with God. If God answered in two ways the first way he answered was I am that I am. And because of that many people believe I am is God's name. But if you look closer, if you look closer, the next line down in the Torah, Moses asked again, and God for the first time [clears throat] revealed his personal name. And his personal name was Yah or Yahweh. So Yah ah or Yahweh, YHVH in Hebrew, is identified in the book of Exodus as the personal name of God. And that is the name that is encoded uh in in this prayer. All right, you're beginning to see why it's it's such a uh a mysterious prayer because there are layers to the mystery. The fourth and the last name of God is Alohim. And this comes from the book of Genesis. This is really interesting to me. Genesis 127 uh chapter 1 verse 27. When God was involved in the creation of humankind, it says that God created man, meaning all humans. It wasn't masculine or feminine, all humans in his image. So God says he created man in his image. But then the next sentence, listen to what he says. Male and female, he created them. Now think about what that means. If God is creating humankind in his image and male and female are a mirror of his image, it means that God is masculine and feminine both. It's very very different than what we're we're typically taught. Means that God is dual rather than singular. And what that shows is the allincclusive power. It shows that this power is so inclusive and so universal, singular as well as plural. And this adds to the power of the solders's prayer, the 91st Psalm in World War II, which was uh in some respects uh a very personal battle where soldiers were still fighting handtoand on the battlefields, hand-to-hand combat. The night before, there are many stories of where the the commanding officers would bring the soldiers together in camaraderie uh to support one another. And one of the things they would do was say, "Memorize this prayer." And they would and they go into battle the next day feeling this sense of protection. And their thinking was, "If it worked for Moses, it's going to work for us." And it did in many, many cases. All entire books of movies have been written uh about this. So, so this is hopefully helps you to understand a little bit why the 91st Psalm of all the Psalms, why Psalm 91 is such a powerful prayer. So, I've given you some insight into the layers, the names of God. How do we use this in our lives? Let's do it. Let's do what we have done with these other prayers. I'm going to invite you once again to create the heartbrain harmony that we now are becoming very accustomed to doing. And into the heartbrain harmony, I will recite out loud the 91st Psalm. And I'll invite you either out loud or in your mind in the silence of your mind to do the same thing just as it is with the other wisdom codes. The power of this wisdom code comes from repeating it more than one time in the affirmative to imprint this code on the subconscious mind. And the way we access our subconscious mind once again is through creating the heartbrain harmony. Remember heartbrain harmony is a hotline. It's direct access into the subconscious. So when we create that heartbrain harmony, once again, we open a clear channel to communicate directly with the subconscious mind. So either silently or out loud as we've done before, I'm going to invite you to follow me. I will read the 91st Psalm, the prayer of protection, Moses prayer, the soldiers prayer. I'll read out loud to you, sentence by sentence, and either out loud or to yourself. Then you can repeat this and we'll do it three times. And again, the key is to embrace this with an awareness, the breath, the feeling coming from the heart as if it is coming from the heart rather than the mind.
