Gregg Braden argues that the structure of human DNA, patterns he reads in the Torah, and shared features of the world's ancient languages point to a deliberate, non-random origin for humanity. He focuses on the fusion that produced human chromosome 2 and on claimed correspondences between ancient alphabets and the chemical elements, presenting these as evidence that science and spirituality describe one reality. These interpretations are Braden's own and are not accepted within mainstream genetics or linguistics.

so I want to be very clear with you I've done my own research and I would not be sharing this with you if I did not believe for my own personal research that everything I'm going to share with you is absolutely accurate uh I'm not saying that we understand 100% this mystery how it is occur to where it comes from but I want to say to you what I'm going to share with you is not a hoax and I think when you see the evidence you'll agree with me so when we ask what is the Bible Code a really deceptively simple answer was offered by the 18 Century scholar that was known as The Genius of vilna in his own words here's what that scholar said and this is a quote he said the rule is that all that was all that is and all that will be until the end of time is included in the Torah from the first word to the last and that's the end of the quote well in my experience my research I want to tell you that every query that has ever been made into the mystery of this code has produced result results that are statistically significant they're not random they're not accidental and this even goes to the name of every human who has ever been entered into this code your name is in the Torah code my name is in the Torah code the details of your life the details of my life and when you say how can that be that's why I wanted to share this episode with you because the Torah code is believed now to be a manual for the quantum possibilities that are available within the Divine Matrix so we're coming back to this idea that we're living within this field and within this field events are unfolding they are following patterns they're following cycles and now it's possible that we actually have a manual that helps us to understand how to interpret those Cycles the consequences of our choices that's what I want to show you right now one year before Bean's assassination a scientific paper was released in the year 1994 in the journal statistical science and it described this Bible code for the first time in scientific terms now the paper was written by two mathematicians eliu rips was the primary author and Doran witam uh the title is uh is very interesting and it's one of the reasons that I think the paper was not widely accepted in common circles because the title makes it sound very complex the title was called equidistant letter sequences in the Book of Genesis and this paper described the first experiment using computers to detect the code so let me just share with you why that's important because for at least a thousand years Torah Scholars biblical Scholars have suspected that there were hidden codes within the Torah and I'm going to talk about precisely what the Torah is in just a moment but these these Scholars suspected that this code was there they didn't have computers a thousand years ago so to find these codes they were doing everything by hand they were manually looking for these relationships and it said that some of them actually went crazy they actually went insane with the complexity of what it was they were trying to do well it was only in 1994 and you think back in time you know the computers that we take for granted today they haven't been around forever and in 1994 some of the kinds of software we deal with today were just in their infancy now having worked in the industry uh developing code to look for patterns I can attest to this firsthand when I was in in the industry in the 1980s 1990s uh pattern recognition software is what we were developing and that pattern recognition software was running on computers that are very very different you know we didn't have our Macintosh uh laptops that so many people use today and we didn't have the uh the IBM uh laptops and the Very compact models running at tremendously high speeds with so much storage that we see today so I'm going invite you to keep this in mind as I describe what was happening in the 1994 study so in 1994 the paper was released the purpose of the paper was to describe an experiment that had been run and the experiment was to determine if the names of 32 very famous rabbis could be identified using algorithms in the Bible Code well without going into all the technical details right here I'm just going to tell you the results were astounding they were more than successful they exceeded all the expectations not only were the names of those 32 Scholars there but there was additional information that was not even query that was coming up with their names well this is where it gets really really interesting because that idea that theory was retested a few years later 1997 during an unprecedented experiment it lasted 440 hours the computers were running the search algorithms for 440 hours and this time rather than the mathematicians that had developed the algorithms doing the work this time the experiment was run by a former senior cryptologic Math petition for the NSA of the United States His Name Was Harold Gans Harold an took the original experiment one step further and he began with the names of 66 famous rabbis he tested those names against themselves but he wanted to see if the dates and the places of the birth and the death for each Rabbi would also show up well once again at the end of this experiment the information that was revealed by the codes exceeded even Harold gan's expectations not only did the names come up the exact dat dates of the birth the exact dates of the death and even the cities where they were born and the cities where the rabbis died even if they were different they showed up in this study well Harold Gans wrote a paper in his conclusion he stated that this is statistically more than significant that this is no accident there is a code that is encoded within the Torah within the first five books of the Hebrew Bible and it's encoded in a way that exists nowhere else well since the time of these experiments once the researchers discovered how accurate these codes were all of a sudden they begin to query everything and everything that has ever been queried in the code has revealed specifics just for example World War II when World War II was queried in the Torah code it actually spells out the words World War II it spells out the words Final Solution the code gives the name of the leaders who were present at the time Roosevelt Stalin Hitler Churchill it gives the exact names of the countries that were involved England Germany France Russia Japan the United States now one of the questions that people have asked me when I do lectures on this topic is could this information be random could it be encoded in other documents and what I want to say to you to date other texts have been tested including uh Webster's Dictionary including novels huge novels like the book War in peace uh the book Moby Dick and in all of these other texts the codes do not work the way they do in the Torah there is something about the way the Torah is put together something about the way that it is arranged and that something is the mystery that we're going to explore right now the precise results are only possible with the Torah and in mathematics uh this is so interesting to me the most string ENT standard for a statistical odd to be significant is 1 in a thousand in mathematics typically the Torah code odds the odds of these things showing up in the Torah the way they do are one in 100,000 so we can see statistically there's something happening here that cannot be explained by conventional thinking conventional physics conventional mathematics at least as we know it today the information coded into the Torah appears to follow the rule of mathematician Heisenberg and we created something called Heisenberg's uncertainty principle and that principle summarized by stepen Hawking and I want to share with you in a a very single uh specific sentence what Hawking said Hawkings said and this is a quote quantum mechanics does not predict a single definite result for an observation instead it predicts a number of different possible outcomes and then tells us how likely each of these outcomes is end of quote this appears to be the way that the Bible Code works it does not predict what will happen when we query the Bible Code in a very specific manner it gives us the consequences that are likely the consequences that are possible and in this way it is suspected that this is a Quantum Code so I'm going to give you some specific examples of of how this works I want to begin with the very beginning I'm going to go back to the beginning of this conversation and I want to talk to you about the Torah just what is the Torah why does it work the way that it works well as I mentioned earlier the Torah represents the first five books of the Hebrew Bible Genesis Exodus Leviticus Numbers and Deuteronomy that happen to be the first five books of the Old Testament in the Christian Bible as well there's something very different about these first five books the truth is we don't really know where they came from there's Legend there's history there's speculation we're told that the book was received the book containing the five books was received on Mount Si in Egypt uh as a single document and the ancient text suggests that it was a single document that had no punctuation no spaces between the words a single continuous output of information and that's going to be key in just a moment so when we talk about the Torah what we're talking about are these first five books of the Hebrew Bible and the Christian Bible we're not talking about the Bible in its entirety so I want to be very clear about that second thing that I want to share with you uh I have studied as an amateur Linguistics all of my life uh and that's going to become apparent in the next episode of this series The Power of information being trans mitted as alphabets as language and what that means to our lives what it means to our bodies what it means to our brains one of the fascinating things that I discovered early on about alphabets is this every single alphabet known to exist on this Earth today ancient and modern every letter of the alphabet has always had a mysterious number associated with the letter we don't know for sure where those numbers came from the numbers uh are stable once those numbers were assigned some time in Antiquity they've never changed every letter of every alphabet has a numeric representation for that letter now some people say well now you're talking about numerology uh I want to be very clear about this the science of numerology was spelled out in the 2 Century uh as 32 re iCal rules for how these numbers May and may not be used so this is the science is called gatria or gatria in uh in the this uh the Hebrew language numerology is a subset of gatria and numerology the rules are very loose uh and they are Malu the the rules for the gatria are very strict they are very spefic specific they're very stringent so I'm be very clear about what we're talking about here and I'm saying this because the alphabet of the Torah is the Hebrew alphabet primarily uh in the original versions and every one of the letters in the Hebrew alphabet has always had a mysterious number associated with that letter so when we talk about the Bible Code the way this Bible code is created is that each of those Hebrew letters are are converted into the numeric equivalent for the letter so instead of seeing a bunch of letters on the page now you're seeing a bunch of numbers on the page once that is done all the spaces are taken out all the punctuation just the way it was believed the Torah was delivered to the Earth at some point in Antiquity 3,000 years ago so now you're looking at a continuous stream of numbers creating an array or a matrix that the computer can now search in query in different ways we're looking at a matrix of 3485 numbers exactly specifically 30485 this is the number of letters that are in the Torah and one of the things that that really helps to to Anchor our trust in this document is that the Torah today has this number of letters and we go back into the most most ancient versions of the Torah it has the same number of letters it's a very very stable document typically uh uh texts such as this are translated and they lose Information Gain information they change over time the the Torah is a very very stable document this is one of the reasons when a rabbi is tasked with creating a new copy of the Torah it said that if even one letter is changed that that one letter could change the outcome and H --- f that program of time and we are subject to the rules and the laws of time until we understand them and then we also understand that our biology gives us the way to hack time we can Short Circuit the processes we can short circuit these Cycles when it comes to the healing of our bodies for example or the peace between nations and all of this is possible because we are now on locking the mystery and we're telling a new human story and it's a story of us and our relationship to the Matrix that underlies all reality what you're seeing on the screen is graphic representation these are two separate chromosomes so these were two chromosomes already existing in the primate genome in the great apes in the chimpanzees you're seeing a dotted line across those chromosomes for a reason that we don't understand we're not sure what happened there was a break something broke or cut or sliced those chromosomes and they were broken in a way that you're seeing on your screen right now portions of those were deleted that material the longer portions on the lower part of the graph the lower part of the chart it disappeared so that material no longer exists above the two portions that you see are now free actually came together and fused at the ends as you're seeing on your screen right now and that Fusion created the longer human chromosome number two it makes 8% of the DNA as I mentioned in every cell in our body however that's not the end of the story because after the fusion happened as you can imagine each of those chromosomes was independent Uno itself before the fusion so each of those chromosomes had information uh to help it function in the way that did when they were fused when the two pieces came together all of a sudden there were overlapping functions that actually would have made human chromosome number two less efficient and to deal with that in a way that is not understood today the overlapping functions were either turned off within the DNA they shut down within the chromosomes or completely removed altogether that is what changes the story so what we're looking at is the mystery of an ancient telr toir Fusion the function the Precision the timing with which this Fusion happened the fact that it happened quickly the fact that it is so precise that certain redundant functions were removed and portions were deleted it tells us that something more than Evolution has happened here Evolution as we know it today cannot and does not explain this fusion and this Fusion is key because it's the fusion that makes us human it's the it's the fusion that sets us apart from all other form of life it appears to be intentional and this is where we begin to to kind of open the door to forbidden territory in science so I'm sharing with you the science this is peer-reviewed science that tells us what happened and we've just done that now there's this this gray this Shady kind of fuzzy area why would something like that happen there appears to be an intent underlying this and scientists don't know who or how or why and I don't either for certain I have my sense my suspicions but I'd like to explore some possibilities with you because the conventional thinking when we hear about the fusion of DNA a long time ago and and the way that that happened we're taught to think in binary terms we say well it's either Evolution and if it's not Evolution it's creationism okay creationism invoking religion invoking God invoking a lot of things that seem to be hot buttons for a lot of people just because of the implications and and I think for that reason that's why it is uh become forbidden territory in science science simply cannot prove these things but there's a third option a third option that has happened for the fusion to occur the way it did uh a mutation had to occur that Fusion is a mutation it means that two genes mutated into the new human chromosome number two uh or two chromosomes mutated into the new human chromosone number two because that is a mutation the third option is now recognizing that the third option is called directed mutation directed mutation that means it didn't happen spontaneous L from a natural process something directed The mutation we don't know what it was for sure uh and this is opening the doors to new possibilities in science and and scientific thinking so where and how that happened that's where the study is going right now and what the studies are showing us is telling a story uh that while it's new for science in our most ancient and cherish spiritual traditions we've heard this story in different ways many times before so when we talk about this directed mutation it opens the door to one of the most controversial facets of of evolutionary theory and and the ideas and the beliefs that support it and do not that is called intelligent design intelligent design precisely what it says that there is a design that is in place underlying the genetic structure of all life and that some form of intelligence has uh has been the one to direct that uh for many people this is where the religious implications come in for me it doesn't have to be that way it doesn't have to be about religion it may but it doesn't have to be but the strongest evidence the strongest argument for what is called directed uh mutation and intelligent design comes from a principle it's called irreducible complexity irreducible complexity here's what I mean by that if you are walking in a field and you find a watch okay watch lying on the ground it is a safe assumption to make that some intelligence underlies the creation of that watch the way the gears come together and interlock and the way that those gears produce uh a function that is useful and meaningful uh obviously reflects some intent some desire design that's very different than if we were just to find a rock laying on the ground and we say well the Rock that Rock may have been put there last week it could have been there for a billion years but it didn't necessarily take any intention to put it there so so I'm just using that as an example because scientists use some scientists are using this idea of irreducible complexity to validate uh this idea that there is some intent under this directed mutation what irreducible complexity says to us it says that A system can only work when all the pieces are in place to function at the same time so we think about our watch it wouldn't work for one gear to show up you know 100 years ago and then another gear show up 100 years later and then another gear show up 100 years later mean the pieces may not even be there they may corrode over those hundreds of years so you get the idea of what I'm saying here all the pieces for the watch have to be in place and available at the same time for that watch to become a watch in function as it does that idea that principle applies to so many facets of biological life uh it's kind of like uh the idea of a mouse trap and this is an idea that scientists use a lot uh when they're when they're making this argument if you look at a mouse trap and it's a very simple mechanism but if any one portion of that mouse trap were not there in the moment it was needed it wouldn't function as a mouse trap you could have the base you could have the cheese for the the bait but that spring isn't there it's not going to be a mouse trap if you have the spring and the cheese but no base there's no Contraption there's no mechanism for it to work so again you're seeing this idea in principle let's take a look at what it means in real life and and this is so amazing when you really begin to think about these things I mentioned the cells earlier our cells are so complex you know back in the early 1900s cells were thought of as little bags uh literally little sacks of fluid and some sticky gooey stuff scientist had no idea of literally the hundreds of thousands of mechanisms that have to be working in place in the Cell at the same time such as a cell has to be able to nourish itself so the cell has to be able to take in food process that food in a way that is Meaningful to the cell and then distribute that beyond the cell to the rest of the body if you're taking in that food then somehow you have to eliminate that food so the elimination system has to be there the cell won't live very long so if the elimination system were there first and the cell were not taking in food that wouldn't work if the food was coming in no way to eliminate it that wouldn't work if the cell could not reproduce itself in some way to create another and another cell or if the cell could not repair and heal itself in one way or another then the cell's life wouldn't last very long all of these things had to be in place at precisely the same time for the cell to work the way it works another place where we see this is with the function of human blood in the hemoglobins there are 20 proteins that have to be in place simultaneously for the clotting of blood in our bodies now I want you to think about what this means 20 proteins they have to be there if they were not there with the first organism the first time that organism received a cut or a scratch we take for granted and is going to heal quickly if those 20 proteins were not already in place then the clotting couldn't happen and that organism would bleed and bleed and bleed until it bled out until it died they have to be if even one of those proteins is missing the clotting mechanism doesn't work uh and another place I'm just going to give you another example so you see these aren't anomalies the cyia cyia are the little wavy tails that we see on the ends of some kinds of bacteria we see them on the ends of sperm and that makes them really important because the sperm couldn't go anywhere to create life if they didn't have the Cilia the little Tails and many of the bacteria couldn't function the way they they do without these for those cyia to work there is a very complex series of over 40 mechanisms that must be in place for the nerves for the chemical reactions for the growth of the cell so that little tail can wiggle and move in a fluid medium if they're not there all at once they're not going to work they cannot evolve slowly gradually over a long period of time just as the 20 proteins didn't just as what's happening in our cells didn't so what I am sharing with you now just so very clear about this irreducible complexity says that there are some forms of life that simply cannot evolve from simpler forms gradually slowly over long periods of time I've just given you three examples well DNA is another example DNA is a example because it is the very basis it's the blueprint for what's happening in our bodies and scientists now are recognizing this and I I just want to share with you from a very well-known scientist exactly I want you to hear his words the scientific words about what this means when we're seeing it so you know it's not just me my opinion my theory this is where uh a body of scientific thinking is now going so here is what the scientist is saying this is from Dr Co enen published in a research paper it was released 1984 he's a mathematician and a member of the New York Academy of Sciences so this is a very well- credentialed scientist and what he's saying is this quote he says at the moment when the DNA RNA system became understood he said the debate between evolution and creation should have come to a screeching halt because the implications of the DNA and the RNA are obvious and clear clear so what he's saying is that the moment our technology advanced the point where we could see what it takes for DNA uh and it's complement RNA to work in our bodies the complexities are so great that the evolutionary theory simply cannot explain those complexities so he's saying this whole debate should have come to an end it is obvious he's saying as a mathematician that there is some in intent perhaps an intelligence definitely something is directing this experience this mechanism that is at the core of our lives and this hearkens back to the very idea of our origin who are we where did we come from what is it that combined those two chromosomes to produce our one chromosome number two that sets us apart from all other life and makes us unique so I'd like to take this opportunity and share with you yet another perspective and for me this is a very personal perspective because it involves a research project uh that I began over 30 years ago my background as a scientist as degreed ge --- ents of the earth and of the wind and of the sun I asked myself if I were writing this text today are those the words that I would use and my answer was probably not as a scientist when I talk about the sun rather than calling it The Sun I would refer to the most dominant element in the sun which is hydrogen when I talk about the air the wind I would refer to the most dominant element uh which is oxygen and I began to look at these overlaps well there's another great mystery when it comes to the languages of our past scientists know this linguists know this very well every language every single alphabet that has ever been known to exist Bar None cuniform Arabic Hebrew Sanskrit every Greek every alphabet's ever been created has always had a mysterious number linked to the letter that it represents no one knows for sure where those numbers came from the numbers never change they are a constant so the numbers that are linked to the letters of ancient alphabet they allow us to think of those alphabets mathematically so here's what I did as a scientist I compared the ancient text 3,000 years old and the elements that it describes that make us with the elements of the periodic table the ancient elements of hydrogen nitrogen oxygen and carbon we find in the periodic table as the letters and they have numbers associated with them and the numbers that I linked from those ancient alphabets as I looked at the atomic mass and the atomic weight of our elements lo and behold they are the same they overlap the atomic mass of hydrogen links precisely with very specific letters in ancient Hebrew aric Arabic and Sanskrit uh the atomic mass for oxygen links precisely with letters in those ancient alphabets so here's what I did I replaced the letters in the the ancient text with the elements of the periodic table and when I did that and applied it to DNA because DNA is made of hydrogen nitrogen oxygen and carbon in different combinations when I took the ancient alphabets and I replaced the elements of the DNA with those alphabets the DNA began to read as you read letters in a sentence in the page upon a book our DNA holds a message that can only be read by crossing the traditional boundaries of Science and spirituality and it helps us one more piece with this clue of our origin because the very first sentence the very first line of every strand of every human DNA says exactly the same thing and here's what it says when we replace those letters with a periodic table and we begin reading the text the very first sentence in every strand of DNA literally says the words God God Eternal within the body God Eternal within the body it doesn't say who God is how that got there or why it's there I'm just sharing with you what happens when we marry science and spirituality so that gives us one more insight now that we know that we appeared on this Earth 200,000 years ago and we know that we haven't changed and now that we know that the DNA that makes us who we are appears to be more than a a random process of biology the question now is what does it mean to have that kind of DNA what do we do with it how do we awaken the extraordinary abilities that that DNA that Fusion gives to us in our lives and gives no other form of life uh what I want to tell you is the science no longer supports the story that you and I have been taught and there is a new story that is typically typically not shared in main stream classrooms or textbooks and if you have young people and you share this with them please don't ask them to challenge their teachers because the teachers don't know the teachers don't know and if they if they hear some of this this content they don't understand where it's coming from I'm I'll give you the references where do we come from Discovery number 12 boom boom boom we're going to go through probably three or four discoveries in the next 20 minutes lightning round all right evolution I want to be really clear you and I when we were in school I would imagine everyone in this room and your children if they're in school and your grandchildren if they're in school are all being taught that we are the product of random mutations and evolution Darwin's theory so I want to be really clear about this I am in no way down on Darwin I respect him tremendously Darwin could not possibly have known in 1859 when he released his theory what we know today today also I want you I was just in London and Darwin's granddaughter was in my audience great granddaughter I guess uh and I didn't know it until after the talk it's probably good that I didn't know it but she came up and she she thanked me for the perspective that I'm about to share with you so Evolution as a geologist I'm a degreed earth scientist I'm I'm a geologist I went to school right up the road here in col Colorado State in in Denver I'm not denying Evolution I've been called an evolution denier I'm not evolution is a fact and I want to be really clear it's a fact in the fossil record I've seen it plants animals insects I'm not questioning the validity of evolution what I'm saying is it is valid until it comes to us Evolution as a theory breaks down in the face of the evidence that has been revealed about human Origins doesn't tell us what did happen but it tells us what did not happen and you and I are not the product of random mutations that evolve slowly gradually over a long period of time and I'm going to show you the evidence to to support this I love I love it when these come up because it really reinforces that that's not our story now some of you have seen these before but I I have to to share this because some of you have not this is called The evolutionary family tree I think most of you probably have seen this when you were in school school I didn't make this up this is right out of the Encyclopedia Britannica this is what's being taught today here is US right there modern humans we're called anatomically modern humans amh and those little green lines that connect us to these other forms of life if you look closely at those every one of them is a dashed line or a broken line with a question mark in the middle and the chart's very honest it it will tell you in the legend and I'm going to highlight this so you can see it that dashed line it means that these are inferred or speculative relationships they have never been proven there is no physical evidence to prove them there has never been physical evidence to prove these relationships and we know that and what scientists say my scientist colleague friends they say well we just haven't looked in the right place 150 years of the best scientific Minds the most money from the best universities with the greatest technology searching for these links I would think we would be a little closer than we are right now if the theory were accurate so rather than allowing and this this is so important rather than allowing the data to lead to the story that it tells we are forcing our young people to take the data and force the data into a predetermined story it's like a square peg in a round hole if you pound hard enough you can get a square peg in a round hole it's just never a good fit there's spaces around it it's not a good fit evolution is not a good fit when it comes to us okay but it's taught is fact and there is no other Theory that's allowed in public education in Western Societies in Western Europe and in the United States Canada Mexico they won't allow any other theories they are fighting tooth and nail to hang on to this story because it is a disempowering story because they believe that if it's not Evol it's binary they say if it's not Evolution now it must be religion and nobody is saying that and nobody believes that necessarily the scientists they're saying this is not our story but they will not share here I'm going to show you right now let's look at this discovery number 13 DNA I mentioned this earlier if you saw the movie Jurassic Park this used to be science fiction now it's science fact we can go into the fossilized remains of ancient forms of life into the bone marrow that's preserved we can extract the DNA and we can build a genome from that DNA just like they did in Jurassic Park now to the best of my knowledge we haven't brought those life forms back to life but you know they're trying somebody's basement is it your basement are you trying somebody's basement they've got DNA from a brontosaurus you know and we're probably going to see one walking down the streets of Boulder someday or something I don't know we can extract that DNA and that is a game Cher because it now allows us here I want you to see here's actually what that's that's the DNA right there that's what fossilized DNA looks like from the bone marrow now we can build build the genome from these ancient forms of life and run it through the computer and match it to the Genome of us today or other forms of life we can do that guess what there's not enough similarity to confirm or support the theory that we have descended from other forms of life as a matter of fact when it comes in Neanderthal we shared the Earth with them we walked the Earth with Neanderthal we couldn't have descended from them because we shared the Earth with them we interbred with them that's why 23 and me or um you know some of the the DNA test they say well you've got Neanderthal DNA many especially in in Europe a lot of Europeans do because there was inner breeding so you may have the Neanderthal DNA but doesn't mean you descended from Neanderthal it's in the genome because there was inner breeding between the Neanderthal and another form of life that form of life is where this gets it's really interesting all right here are the scientists are telling this this right here and if you can read this um this is from um advances and anthropology volume uh two page 80 to 86 this was published in 2012 it says that the the DNA of what are now called anatomically modern humans they used to be called chromagnon y'all remember chromagnon back in they don't use that term anymore it's a m anatomically modern humans we appeared anatomically modern humans showed up on Earth 200,000 years ago scientists agree with that they just don't know where amh came from and the kicker is now that we can compare our DNA to theirs it hasn't changed it has not been a slow gradual process of evolution we and one of one of the corollaries this is a geologist I'm fascinated by this one of the corollaries to Evolution Alfred Wallace was one of the contributors to Darwin's theory of evolution but you don't hear his name very often but you hear his contribution and his contribution simply says nature never over endows the problem is we are all over endowed you can go home and tell if you go home to whoever you go home to and they saywhat did you learn today and you saywell I am over endowed that's right we are over endowed as a species and here's the reason that I'm saying this nature never over endows what that means is that nature will only give a life form a capability that it needs in that moment in time in evolution to survive whatever conditions are there anatomically modern humans showed up 200,000 years ago with capabilities light years beyond what was needed for simple survival they were already there they were already developed they were already intact they did not evolve slowly gradually over a long period of time and they're still with us today what you and I are tapping into soft technology the ability to self-regulate our biology it has been with us since we emerged on this planet it's part of our makeup that is a a GameChanger in biology that's a GameChanger okay so they're saying this we showed up 200,000 years ago we haven't changed so if you were to take the skeleton of an anatomically modern human on the left and you compare them with modern humans today for all intents and purposes they're the same their leg bones are a little bit thicker they think because they walked more probably than we do but other than that cranial capacity is the same body proportions are the same DNA is the same genome is the same now I believe there has been an evolution of Consciousness absolutely we absolutely I I think we think differently than they did 200,000 years ago but the soft technology that houses the Consciousness hasn't changed we've grown into it so when they do a reconstruction this is what anatomically modern humans used to look like uh I have to be careful when we do this for broadc --- tornado leaves behind is a Boeing 747 we've talked about this twice today so I want you to know this is what they look like uh and for a non-mathematician what does that mean right there there's a Boeing 747 big planes that's not going to happen you're never going to see a tornado go through a junkyard and even leave a part of a you won't see a wing form from that junk you won't see the Fus Lodge it's not going to happen so what they're saying is the odds are impossible I'll just tell you math mathematicians in herebody anybody like like math and Engineering okay so I'll tell you the mathematically if something the odds of something happening are 1 and 10 to the 400th that is called impossible if you get a lottery ticket and the numbers are 1 and 10 to the 400 forget it it's impossible so that's impossible the odds of our DNA forming the way it has the odds of that happening are 1 and 10 to the 600th it's more than impossible that we are the product of a random process more than impossible so the question is who or what is responsible well you can watch a lot of Gaia content have a lot of ideas about what that might be what I'll say to you is this as a scientist I want to be very honest with you it depends on who you ask because every ancient and Indigenous tradition that I've studied everyone Bar None all have an answer to this question and none of them are the product of random processes none of them they all have a common theme and they say the the Sumerians they have their story all right the aboriginals they have their story you can see giving birth to the human human species right there the Hindu Traditions they have their story Christians have a story and they got great pictures with a Christian story about how this happened all right native indigenous the Navajo right down the road here in Four Corners scientists have had their story but their story has broken down if you watch television there's a story right there but now the evidence is changing everything because the evidence is giving us a new story this session's presentation focuses on the role of tiir the bodies equivalent of the Fountain of Youth we are all moral organisms which means we will inevitably die when our time comes does it really mean death is an ending to our existence an assessment of our cell membran population of protein receptors suggests that a part of us survives after death an energy that implies the existence of a spiritual realm animals and plants have a generally defined lifespan between the time they're born and the time they die when the science of genetics was developed the first thing geneticists were looking for were to identify the genes that presumably control our aging but is aging a genetic character in the early 1970s Russian theorist Alexi olovnikov first recognized that the ends of a chromosome could not be replicated when the cell divided a finding that revealed a segment of the terminal DNA sequences in a chromosome are lost every time a cell replicates when the loss of the DNA strand reaches a critical level the cell can no longer replicate and then it dies further research revealed that there are extensions of non-coding DNA at the terminal ends of the chromosome these extensions are called tiir and they have two two fundamental functions one they prevent the DNA double helix from unwinding an action that will cause it to be degradated by enzymes and two the tiir allow the DNA to be copied without losing genetic information the DNA copying enzyme DNA polymerase is what duplicates DNA molecules however physical limitations prevent it from reading and copying a short stretch of the DNA at the terminal end of the DNA strand the reason for shortening of the teir is very simple imagine a DNA molecule as a railroad track and that the enzyme that copies DNA the DNA polymerase is an engine moving down the track as the DNA polymerase moves down the track it leaves behind in its Trail a duplicate copy of the DNA on which the engine was riding however the enzyme cannot copy the DNA piece on which it is sitting so when the DNA is being copied the polymerase moves down the track copies everything but at the very end of the Strand the engine of the polymerase is sitting on that track and cannot copy it significance is profound because it means that every time you copy the DNA it gets a little shorter than the original version so every replic lication of DNA reduces the length of that DNA molecule well this is what leads to aging depression and disease so nature facilitates Us in the ability to extend the replication Time by adding a piece of DNA at the end of the DNA strand that doesn't code for anything it's just an extra piece of DNA track so to speak a DNA is a double helix and it is very stable as a double helix but if the DNA starts to unfold and the Helix starts to separate then the free ends of the DNA are now opened to digestion by enzymes so if a DNA unfolds enzymes will actually destroy the DNA molecule so it turns out that the tiir the little extensions at the end of the DNA act as a mechanism to prevent the UN finding of the DNA to give you analogy when you have a pair of shoelaces you also know at the end of the shoelaces a little plastic capsule at the very end actually has a name called an aglet aglet holds the strands together to prevent them from unwinding because if you lose that aglet what happens the shoelace starts unwind and you get a big bushy and to that shoelace it's very difficult now to push that shoel through the eyelet in the shoe because it's all flared out and so it actually decreases the function of that shoelace well simply the same thing occurs in DNA if the DNA Helix unfolds then the DNA is going to be broken down by enzymes but the tiir act as the equivalent of an aglet they hold the strands of the DNA together to prevent its unwinding and subsequent degradation so that's one primary function of the tiir but the primary function of the teir turns out that it makes an extension of the DNA that allows the DNA to be shortened every time the DNA is copied without affecting the gene programs so this allows so many divisions before we run out of tiir and then it was believed that a lifespan of an organism is based on how many times a cell can divide before it loses those tiir extensions and then cuts into the DNA program Leonard hylick a scientist back in the 1960s did a calculation based on how long the teir extension was and how many times it could divide before the tiir was gone he comes up with a number that a cell can divide about 60 times before it loses a selir well when he put that information into our biology how many years does that account for well hayflick's number comes down to a human can live to approximately 90 years before the tiir are lost and then subsequent replications of the DNA interfere with the gene programs how interesting it turns out we live about 90 years and that's apparently how long the tiir exist before being cut off well that sort of said our lifespan as a human is limited in 1984 research scientist Elizabeth backburn discovered an enzyme tarase that can extend the length of tiir which when translated means the potential to extend the human lifespan however this enzyme can be activated or inhibited based on what we're experiencing in our life so for example things that will inhibit the enzyme and prevent us from extending our lifespan include things such as bad nutrition childhood abuse domestic violence post-traumatic stress disorder no self-love or loss of love no purpose in life each one of these characteristics really takes away the character and quality of our life which in a sense if you think about it means well I'm not happy with my life the way it is so ending sooner is not a big problem but in contrast there are activities that enhance taras activity and can extend our lifespan and our health and these activities include number one providing good nutrition especially omega3 exercise happiness and gratitude as well as a positive outlook self love and love and having a purpose in life meaning you have something you have to do and this is really important because having a life purpose uh is really a conscious intention saying I'm not finished I have more to do and that feedback enhances the taras activity to extend your life in fact healthc care givers have a longer life than other people that are not involved in that activity so if you understand this and start to live with love and purpose and happiness and gratitude then it's going to make your life extended because you're going to activate this T Ras incre cir and allow your stem cells to replicate more frequently and also then in the process to extend your life and your health well in addition to the tarase there was also another insight into aging and this involved what is called parabiosis experiments now parabiosis is when you take two organisms and surgically put them together so that the circulation system of one is connected to the circulation system system of the other and they do a lot of experiments with putting rats together or mice together and then trying to find out what is the consequence of sharing a circulatory system well here's what they found they found that when you put a younger animal in parabo it with an older animal that the older animals will actually start to express youthing they're slow down their aging and they improve their health and vitality when their circulation system carries blood from a younger organism well now the significance is this is the mechanism that influen you thing present in the blood is something that enhances youth like present in the young blood or is it something that compromises youth by something that's released into the blood of older individuals well that's not been worked out yet but the conclusion is very clear that younger blood enhances the Vitality of older organisms again suggesting that some component in blood is very much involved with the length of our lives but the length of Our Lives inevitably will come to an end and will finally age and we finally die and the question is is our existence fully terminated with death in Newtonian terms the Physical Realm that we live with uh well that dies so the answer is yes we're terminated but in the realm of quantum physics pH we are offered an alternative possibility for the realm of energy is neither created nor destroyed insight into our potential spirituality is linked to a unique biological identity no two people are biologically the same and this is evidenced by the simple fact that we cannot exchange cells tissues or organs with one another so if I put my cells into your body your immune system will distinguish that it's not your cells it disting self from foreign cells and why this is really important it says that somewhere on our cells there's an identity that an immune system can recognize and distinguish self from not self well to try and understand that I'd like to take two identical cell types let's say two liver cells I want two cells that are carrying out the exact same function but there's something different between them one of them is Bruce's cell and the other is Margaret cell so now there are two identities two cells but each has a unique identity the question is where in that cell is the unique identity to be found now first of all I know the nuclei of the cells are different in experiments that I've even done you can remove the nucleus of a cell and the cell can live for weeks without the nucleus in it so in our little model that I'm going to show you Let's ignore the nucleus for the time being and just look at the cell now here's the issue when I remove the color from the two cells where they're exactly the same guess what the only color that's left in the image is on the surface of the membrane covering each cell and I said well what is on the surface of the membrane that gives us identity in our next episode we're going to focus on fractal geometry the mathematics governing the structure of the Physical Realm the presentation will include some important insights acquired from the life of a cell that we can use to enhance our own Human Experience
